Not Sure What Kind of Extensions Will Suit Your Hair?

What Are the Different Types of Hair Weaving Methods

There are various different hair weaving methods available today, and which one you choose will greatly depend on numerous factors, such as the type of hair you have, how long your natural hair is, and how long you want the weave to last before it needs to be re-done. Bonding is a method where hair extensions will be glued to the roots of your own hair.

Infusion means fusing, braiding, or bonding strands of hair to your own natural hair. Clip-in hair extensions can be used for temporary hair weaves, this is where your hair is separated into sections, and clips will be attached to each section. Bonding is just one of several temporary hair weave methods and will last for around 2 weeks.

This method uses glue to attach the extension to your hair at the roots. A more permanent kind is known as hard bonding. This uses a stronger adhesive and lasts much longer before it will need attention. Because this method can last from 4 weeks to 3 months, depending on what adhesive is used, it is the most preferred by people looking to avoid going to the hair salon for regular maintenance.

Infusion is another so-called permanent hair weaving methodand can last from 2 to 5 months. However, this will greatly depend on the kind of hair a person has, whether their hair has been relaxed already, and exactly how the hair extensions were attached. This kind of hair weave can be extremely time-consuming where the hair stylist will separate their client’s hair into sections, and then single strands are applied and fused or bonded to every section. Infusion is not advisable for people whose hair is chemically treated, or that have hair which is not at least 5 inches long.
